How to offer sports center locker room users greater comfort and hygiene
Company brief description
The Metropole Swimming Club in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a social and sports entity founded in 1934, dedicated fundamentally to the promotion of swimming. With around 40 sports facilities distributed across various floors and spaces, it is a magnificent place to enjoy and share swimming.
What problem needed to be solved?
Through the MEGABLOK website, they contacted us because they needed to renovate and equip the locker rooms of their sports facility with new lockers, cabins, and benches.

What solution did MEGABLOK provide?
Phenolic lockers, benches, and cabins were the proposed solution, as they are the best option for extremely humid environments or outdoor spaces. The materials used offer exceptional hardness and resistance during use—far superior to other materials—due to their water-repellent, fire-retardant, and antibacterial properties, thereby granting them a superior category. We started with an initial challenge: there was very little space available for the number of lockers needed to serve all the club’s users. To solve this problem, different locker models of varying sizes were designed, with and without benches. Modifications to the locker models had to be made during the manufacturing process, including adjustments to the dimensions of both cabins and lockers, as well as the type of lock.
